The Education Exchange is designed to be a genuine opportunity to perform, learn and connect internationally.

We are a volunteer lead Education Exchange powered by our sister brand, the World Burlesque Academy.

All the team volunteers except for our receptionist, lighting and stage manager.

If accepted, you’ll…

Perform in Ibiza at beautiful venues including Aperture Terrace or NYX Hotel Ibiza
Meet artists from around 10 countries
Receive supportive Peer Review feedback on your act
Get 3 online learning modules — Publicity with Jenna Owen, Social Media with Susie Dahl and Belly Dancing with Sarasvati — plus a live Zoom session valued at £999
Be paid by World Burlesque Academy after the festival for a one hour online lesson. In the online lesson you will share your knowledge through an online Q&A/interview or teaching session which reaches our 600 members building your profile and audience worldwide as your video lesson will stay online in our libary.

And if you aren’t selected the opportunity does not stop there, we’d still love you to join our international community of around 600 members in 32 countries, sharing your knowledge, insights about your city and  you may want to explore The Burlesque Exchange Network where we have the option to upgrade for Buddy Support and we will match you with someone outside your city to help you grow.

Introducing Hibiscus Bloom: As we celebrate 10 years on the Island of Ibiza with our education partners World Burlesque Academy and Sephira Muse, we ask the question to our debut artists, “What excites you about coming to Ibiza and Spain for the very first time?”

“Meeting new people and taking away learning new things, from the art that I’m watching, whether it’s a trick or something new, or a new way to see something, or culturally learning someone else’s energy or experience.”

Originally from Northern California native blooming & spreading their queer petals in Austin, Texas. Hibiscus Bloom is known for their commitment to celebrating identity and self-expression, Hibiscus blends sensuality, empowerment, and storytelling in every performance.

Hibiscus Bloom is a member of Bat City Bombshells, Shea Butter Babies Productions and a clown artist in Fou Fou Ha Clown Troupe! Bloom has performed for magical stages including Burning Man, Texas Burlesque Festival, Ohio Burlesque Festival, SXSW and wondrous vibrating stages throughout Texas! A garden of delight that never ends, Hibiscus Bloom!
