Welcome to the fifth Ibiza Burlesque Festival 2021 Edition (Physical and Virtual Programme).

The Ibiza Burlesque Festival welcomes all styles of burlesque, boylesque, pinup, cabaret, circus performer, workshop teachers, DJs and even synchronised swimmers!

Our events include workshops, pool parties and burlesque shows with a focus on safety and social distancing. We encourage all levels of local and international performers to apply to perform at the highest standard in some of the most exotic venues in the world.

Our team is founded on positivity and being performers ourselves we want your experience to be so great you apply again and again! When accepted to perform at the festival, each performer will be welcomed with a butterfly at the event and we will have positive affirmations as a team and also posted backstage. We know the magic you feel being appreciated and encouraged creates the most wonderful performance art of all. performers and workshop teachers as well as DJs. We welcome classic burlesque, big showgirl costumes and headdresses with lavish accessories we are looking for alternative performers, too.

Your application will be selected by the Application Committee for either the physical or virtual programme.

This year we had DJ super stars, Danny Rampling, Anthony Pappa and DJ Masyga as our headliners along with the world’s best burlesque artists.

We want to push the boundaries so get in touch if you are a burlesque artist, synchronised swimmer, gymnast, mermaid inspired act, 1950s pinup, vintage swimsuit acts, pink flamingo or summer inspired routines.

We are also casting for a theatrical stage kitty to be an essential character in our show setting and clearing the stage.

Our Virtual Festival was so well received we are planning to have both Physical and Virtual events in 2021. Please ensure when you apply you have full permission from the producers and videographer of the showreel you submit for us to be sent a copy of the video file and used in the Virtual Programme – we will credit them and tag in our social media to acknowledge and thank them for their support.

Fire acts, large props and excessive liquid cannot be used on stage so please take this into consideration.

UK and EU applications can upgrade by adding £20 to receive a signed copy of the book ‘Burlesque or Bust’ written by festival director, Sapphira with the history of how the festival began – this price includes shipping but is only available to the UK and EU only.)
